Its oval shape design allows it to fit in almost any area, including the kitchen, office, living room, laundry room, bedroom, dorm room, or any open space. This durable trash can utilizes the most advanced sensor technology found in all Nine Stars products.

The lid of the trash can automatically opens when your hand or debris is within 10 inches and a 130-degree angle from the infrared sensor. It will remain open as long as the debris or hand is within the sensor's range. After three seconds of your hand moving away, the lid will close automatically. The power of the trash can lasts for at least 6 months in normal daily usage (batteries not included). It also features a garbage bag ring to keep the bag hidden for a neat appearance.

If you encounter any issues, such as the lid not opening, you can troubleshoot by ensuring the power is on, checking the batteries are correctly placed, and wiping the sensor with a dry cloth. The water-resistant infrared motion sensor prevents damage from moisture or spills, while the fingerprint-resistant stainless steel base helps keep the can clean.

This trash can boasts advanced technology such as delay sensing to preserve battery life and prevent unnecessary openings. It also has a quiet closing function for longevity. The touch-free motion sensor lid closure seals in odors and eliminates the risk of cross-contamination from germs. It requires 2 D batteries (alkaline recommended for best performance).

For ease and convenience, the trash can has a removable ring liner to hold the trash bag in place and prevent overhanging. You can use standard trash bags or NINESTARS custom bags (NSTB-13-30).
